The BV CDC accepts referrals from many sources.  The referrals can come from parents/guardians, physicians, pediatricians, public health nurses, social workers, child care providers or other community service providers.  Referrals are made with the parent/guardian’s knowledge and consent.  Participation in BV CDC Services is voluntary.  All referral information shared is confidential.

Early Intervention Services

Programs available for children and their families are:

Infant Development (birth-3 yrs)
Aboriginal Infant Development    (birth-3 yrs)
Early Intervention (birth-6 yrs)

Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions (birth-19 yrs)

School Age Services

Referrals are initiated by the Schools in District #54 and District #82, Private and Independent Schools.

Referrals come from Houston, Telkwa, Smithers, Moricetown,
Hagwilget, Hazeltons, Kitwanga, Gitanyow,  Gitsegukla,
Gitanmaax, Kispiox, Two Mile and Glen Vowell

Nechako Lakes include Burns Lake, Fort St. James, Fraser Lake, Granisle, Southside, Topley, Tachet, Vanderhoof
