HOW TO REFER
The BV CDC accepts referrals from many sources. The referrals can come from parents/guardians, physicians, pediatricians, public health nurses, social workers, child care providers or other community service providers. Referrals are made with the parent/guardian’s knowledge and consent. Participation in BV CDC Services is voluntary. All referral information shared is confidential.
Early Services
Programs available for children and their families are:
Infant Development (0-3 yrs)
Aboriginal Infant Development (0-3 yrs)
Early Intervention (0-6 yrs)
- Family Services Coordinator
- Occupational Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions (0-19 yrs)
- Keyworker Services
School Age Services
Referrals are initiated by the Schools in District #54 and District #82, Private and Independent Schools.
Referrals come from Topley, Houston, Telkwa, Smithers, Moricetown,
Hagwilget, Hazeltons, Kitwanga, Gitanyow, Gitsegukla,
Gitanmaax, Kispiox, Two Mile and Glen Vowell
